Employment Opportunities
Skydiving is a lot of fun as we all know, but it is a business too. At
this time Skydive Virginia! is looking for some good individuals to
work with our fun hard working staff. As a matter of fact that
seems to be the biggest restraining factor on our growth. We will not
accept new clients without the proper staff to safely accomodate them.
If you're safety conscious, self motivated, want to make some good bucks
working with a fun group of folks, doing something you would normally be
paying for, we need you here!
All positions require that you be available on the weekends (during the
week on a scheduled basis is a strong consideration) and have a
professional appearance and courteous manner.
The more combinations of the following you have, the better.
- Tandem Instructor - you must have a Strong Enterprises tandem rating.
A USPA tandem rating is a strong consideration. We will supply top of the
line, well maintained tandem rigs (SET 400, and 520). If you have a
rig and want to use it, we can work something out.
- AFF JM/I - you must be AFF rated in good standing with USPA.
Some experience teaching first jump classes (FJC) is a big plus.
Skydive Virginia wants above average skydivers so we pay above
average pay scale.
-
Commercial Pilots - To fly our C-182 one must have a commercial license
with previous experience flying a C-182. In order to fly our King Air
one must have 1,000 hours minimum, 100 hours multi and 25 hours in type.
Skydive Virginia!, Inc. is not in the business of training pilots; if
one does not meet the turbine qualifications one must complete a turbine
training program or reimburse Skydive Virginia!, Inc. for the qualifying
hours/instruction in our aircraft. Qualified candidates can e-mail one's
pilot resume to
